3 workshop with Azzurro Fumo

3 unmissable events for all gender

1st Session – The Art of Burlesque in Men’s Clothing
february 8, 12:30 PM/2:00 PM

A journey through time through the male icons of 20th-century burlesque, embracing elegance, irony, and seduction. We’ll work on the posture and classic poses that define the dandy, refined, and provocative character. The event will culminate with a jacket strip tease, a symbol of power and mystery that transforms into a gesture of pure theatricality.

2nd Session – The Game of Teasing and the Seduction of Gesture
february 25, 3:00 PM/4:30 PM

The second session will focus on the essence of burlesque: teasing, the art of suggesting rather than showing. We will explore posing techniques, fluid transitions, and the small details that make every movement charged with intention. The highlight will be the shirt strip tease, with practical exercises, moves, and tips to make every gesture personal, elegant, and irresistible.

Session 3 – Final Elegance: Pants, Rhythm, and Choreography
march 28, 3.00 PM/4:30 PM

In the third session, we will explore the use and stripping of pants, completing the transformation of the male burlesque character. After a general review of the male outfit, we will perform a group choreography, where each participant will put what they’ve learned into practice, blending technique, stage presence, and humor in a visually striking group routine.

Azzurro Fumo
Duke of Burlesque

A ditzy and chaotic figure in the Italian burlesque scene, he loves having fun on stage, ranging from comic gags to cabaret and performances that are always humorous and entertaining, capable of captivating the audience, creating hilarious situations and overwhelming both the presenters and the audience. Whether he’s a 1950s sailor, a timelessly glamorous dandy, or a clumsy scientist, whatever the character he plays, he blends irony, sensuality, and humor, creating an original mix that nods to the cabaret of the early 1900s.
Since 2013, he has worked closely with the global burlesque scene, alongside performers such as Medianoche, Michelle L’Amour, Immodesty Blaze, Russell Bruner, Lou Lou D’Ville, Mosh, Jett Adore, and Vicky Butterfly, increasingly establishing himself as a multifaceted performer. His performances are a potpourri of cheeky comedy, mischief, and elegance, all complemented by a magnetic gaze that captivates the audience.
He has been a member of the “Caput Mundi International Burlesque Award” staff for seven years as a performer and presenter, and in 2019 he won the title of “Duke of Burlesque” at the 2019 Ferrara Burlesque Festival.
In 2021, he was chosen as the Italian male representative for the annual “Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend,” in its online version (due to the pandemic), together with Grace Hall herself. Effervescent and bubbly, Azzurro Fumo is pure dynamite!
